NW Works Releases ‘Firefly at Home’

Image of a cookbook cover. The top portion of the cover has an image of a sign that features the words "Firefly Cafe and Bakery" hanging on the exterior of a building. The image on the bottom of the image features a woman with Down Syndrome holding a cookbook that says "Annie's Baking Book" on the cover. Text at the center of the image reads "NW Works presents Firefly at Home. Recipes from Firefly Cafe and Bakery."

When Firefly Cafe & Bakery closed in October of 2020, our team was contacted by many loyal customers who were broken-hearted about the cafe’s closing. Quite a few of our fans even reached out, wondering if we could provide the recipes behind their favorite treats.

They asked and we listened. Now, we are thrilled to introduce the Firefly at Home cookbook, a collection of the more than 20 recipes that won over the hearts and taste buds of Winchester. Featuring many of the recipes of our baker Annie G., patrons can finally make their own lemon bars, Keto Magic Cookies, and our lavender lemon scones.

A limited number of cookbooks are available for a suggested donation of $40, so please contact us at info@nwworks.com if you are interested. Donations can be made through our website, or in-person with cash, check, or a credit card.
