Going further, together.

Not all clients wish to work individually with a job coach. Some prefer to work in a team environment. NW Works is proud to offer Group Supported Employment (GSE) opportunities in Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland.

Clients participating in GSE can work at a number of integrated community settings alongside several NW Works employees providing support as needed. NW Works clients fulfill contracts with small and large businesses in the region, including at several government facilities such as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; the United States Department of Agriculture, and the Internal Revenue Services.

Within the NW Works headquarters, there are several work opportunities available to individuals. Depending on the contract, individuals may be paid based on productivity, minimum wage, or higher. Operating hours for this opportunity are Monday through Friday, 8:15 am – 3:15 pm.

Operating hours for off-site positions depend on the contract sites and the hours requested by the employer and may not be subject to NW Work’s holiday schedule.
