NWW Foundation

Stylized logo. In purple text are the letters "N W W". Below that in black letters reads "foundation". Along the bottom of the image are the words "in support of NW Works, Inc."

The NWW Foundation is a 509(a)(3) supporting charity, founded in 2018 to support NW Works, Inc. As a private foundation, the NWW Foundation disperses at least 5 percent of assets each year to NW Works, which helps cover program expenses for the organization. The Foundation is focused on both investing existing assets and fundraising additional assets to prepare for the future of NW Works.

Currently, most online donations made to NW Works via our website go to the NWW Foundation. However, donors can decide where their gifts will go and how they will be used, and we always honor our donor’s wishes and expectations.

It is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, much like NW Works.

Stephanie Lett is the interim Chair of the NWW Foundation, as well as NW Work’s Vice President of Finance & Human Resources. Prior to joining NW Works in September of 2019, she handled the finances of Synoptos, a global tech startup based in Washington, DC.

After surviving breast cancer, Stephanie spends a great deal of her time working with others battling the disease. As a consumer reviewer, she is also a full voting member of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs’ Breast Cancer panel, a branch of the Department of Defense. She also volunteers with the American Cancer Society’s Reach to Recovery Program, is a member of the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network, and previously facilitated a cancer support group.

When she’s not crunching numbers and building budgets, Stephanie loves to travel the world and spend time with her family.
