WINCHESTER, Va. –While NW Works heavily focuses on employment services, our staff also work with our clients to meet other therapeutic needs. This includes music therapy!

The NW Works Chimers program is a music therapy program in which clients learn, practice, and perform tone chime music. For one semester, a licensed music therapist provides weekly instruction. Each semester is concluded by at least one public concert.

Music therapy can improve communication and motor skills, and provides a creative and emotional outlet for participants. However, cost can be prohibitive for our clients. Because of this, NW Works is currently seeking sponsors to help our income-limited clients participate in the program. Sponsorship of a full semester is just $60. Click here to donate today!
