Meet Kevin Lakin, NWW Foundation Board

Kevin Lakin is a Senior Vice President/Financial Advisor with Lakin & Warren Financial Group with BB&T Investments. He has been with BB&T Investments for 14 years. Prior to that, he worked for FedEx for 14 years and served 4 years in the United States Air Force.

Kevin has been married to his wife Pam for 35 years. He has three children Kim, Kelly and Chris. Kim who is the oldest is married and is a Physician’s Assistant lives in Gainesville FL, Kelly is married and is a Dietician and lives in Valdez, AK, and Chris is in the US Coast Guard and lives in Portland, ME. Kevin’s family has lived in Winchester for 23 years. Kevin was born and raised in a small town in Western NY State.

His hobbies include spending time and visiting his family. Kevin enjoys woodworking, fishing, kayaking, and working outside. Kevin likes volunteering his time in his community. He participated in the James Wood Athletic Association and James Wood touchdown club when his kids were in high school. Kevin currently participates in the United Way Day of Caring and Habitat for Humanity through work. He is on the Executive Committee as Vice President and on the board of the SPCA and has been on the board since 2017.
